While visiting my daughter in Colorado, we frequented a local lake nearby that has some lovely walking trails encircling the lake.
We were there in the fall and as we were strolling I came upon a group of trees with mountains on the far horizon and I was taken back by the late afternoon sun cascading on the trail and on the striking tree colors. I took the photo on my I Phone and decided I needed to paint it!
