I had the pleasure of attending a baseball game at Camden Yards pitting my Red Sox versus the hometown Orioles. My brother-in-law and his son were able to get four incredible seats right behind home plate. I had my I-phone with me and during the course of the game started taking photos. It wasn't until I got back home a few days later that as I scanned what I had shot during the game, I actually captured one of my favorite Red Sox players Dustin Pedroia at bat. My I-phone caught the moment, perhaps just a split second before he made contact with the ball. I was amazed that the I-phone could capture this, and of course I needed to paint this to memorialize the moment!
